Breakdown recovery in Tallaght through the TowNow app

The N81, the M50 at Junction 11, the Luas terminus and the roads up into the mountains.

Anyone hurt or in danger? Ring 112 first. Sort the vehicle out once everyone is safe.

Tallaght sits at the foot of the Dublin Mountains, with the N81 running through it towards Blessington and the M50 at Junction 11. The Square, the hospital and the Luas terminus make the centre busy, and the roads south climb quickly into open country.

Up in the hills

On the mountain roads phone signal can be patchy. Send the request while you have coverage, and add a landmark in the notes, such as a car park, a forest entrance or a bend you can describe. The pin is saved even if the signal drops.

At the hospital or the Square

Name the car park and the nearest entrance. Hospital car parks often have barriers, so say whether the operator needs a ticket or a code to get in.

In the app

Registration, drop-off, problem, then the price before you confirm.
